For in-rack and end-of-row cabling, direct attach copper (DAC) and active optical cable (AOC) assemblies remove the need for separate transceivers and patch cords — lowering BOM cost, simplifying inventory, and trimming insertion loss. Optiunik supplies passive DAC twinax cables (10G SFP+, 25G SFP28, 40G QSFP+, 100G QSFP28, 400G QSFP-DD) in 0.5–3 m standard lengths and custom lengths to 7 m; active DAC and AOC variants extend reach to 30 m / 100 m respectively. Connector ends and breakout configurations (e.g., 100G QSFP28-to-4× 25G SFP28, 400G QSFP-DD-to-4× 100G QSFP28, 800G OSFP-to-2× 400G) are fully supported. Every cable is electrically pre-tested for BER, eye-pattern compliance, and Tx/Rx power across the full link budget, and programmed with the customer's switch vendor coding. Bulk pull-test and bend-radius certification ship with each shipment on request.

Fiber patch cords are the last meter of every optical link. Optiunik supplies the full range of duplex, simplex, breakout, and MTP/MPO trunk patch cords, with every connector hand-polished and inspected on a digital interferometer before assembly. Connector options include LC, SC, FC, ST, MU, and E2000 in UPC and APC polish; fiber grades cover OS1 / OS2 single-mode and OM1 / OM2 / OM3 / OM4 / OM5 multi-mode (color-coded jacket per TIA standard). MTP®/MPO trunk and breakout cables are available in 8 / 12 / 16 / 24-fiber variants with Type A / B / C polarity and pinned or unpinned ends. Custom lengths are produced in 1 m steps without minimum charges (most orders ship within 3 days). Jacket options include PVC, LSZH, OFNP / OFNR, and armored for outdoor / harsh-environment deployments. All cables ship with individual IL / RL test reports.

Network patch cords from Optiunik cover the complete copper Ethernet stack — Cat5e (100 MHz), Cat6 (250 MHz), Cat6A (500 MHz), and Cat8 (2000 MHz) — in both shielded (S/FTP, F/UTP) and unshielded (U/UTP) constructions. All copper conductors are 100% bare copper (CCA strictly forbidden), gold-flashed 50µ" 8P8C plugs, and individually tested for continuity, wire-map, attenuation, NEXT, and return loss before packaging. Jacket choices include flexible PVC for office runs, LSZH for plenum and riser installs, and outdoor PE for direct-bury applications. Custom lengths from 0.3 m to 30 m ship in 0.5 m increments, and bulk colors (blue, gray, black, white, green, yellow, red, orange) are stocked for color-coded installations. Each cable carries a permanent factory ID for traceability back to test data.
